Joomla Portfolio Gallery Extension

Overview

TTB Portfolio Gallery is a focused Joomla portfolio system for agencies, studios, company references and visual project collections. It combines component-managed galleries and items with responsive frontend grids, multi-image lightbox navigation, article embedding and optional module placement.

What it does

• Creates multiple portfolio galleries with independent display settings.
• Supports image and video projects, categories, ordering and external links.
• Preserves multiple images per project and provides previous/next lightbox navigation with a photo counter.
• Provides responsive desktop, tablet and mobile column controls plus configurable grid gaps.
• Includes category filtering, title sorting and Load More, Pages or Show All pagination modes.
• Lets administrators show or hide project titles, descriptions, link buttons and Joomla module titles.
• Embeds a gallery directly inside a normal Joomla article with a simple content code such as {ttbportfolio 1}.
• Keeps the dedicated component page available for standalone gallery pages.
• Includes a site module for publishing a selected gallery in compatible Joomla module positions.
• Protects against accidental duplicate rendering of the same TTB gallery on one page.
• Requires no MooTools or jQuery dependency.

Installation

1. Upload the ZIP in Joomla Administrator > System > Install > Extensions.
2. Open Components > TTB Portfolio Gallery.
3. Create a gallery and manage its items.
4. To combine normal article text with a gallery, copy the Content code from the gallery editor and paste it into a Joomla article.
5. Point the menu item to that article, or use the dedicated component page/module when preferred.
6. Review grid settings, lightbox behaviour and responsive output before production use.

Requirements

• Designed for Joomla 3.10, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x.
• A normal Joomla article workflow for content embedding, or a compatible module position when the module is used.

Important

The package includes the component, site module and Content plugin. The Content plugin is enabled automatically after package installation. Existing TTB gallery data is preserved when upgrading.
